~ The Fallen ~ July 7, 2016

This Saturday’s post is dedicated to the heroes in blue of our communities~

Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your integrity. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you…for your lives.

Please take the time to read this post by a fellow blogger who also happens to be a St. Louis police officer. Writing from the perspective of the ‘thin blue line’ at ‘Don Of All Trades’, the post he wrote yesterday says it all:

“Social Media Killed 5 Cops” by Officer Don @Don Of All Trades

Thank you for posting this. It’s spot on. I have sent in on to my 5 adult ‘kids’ for them to ponder.

I appreciate your blog, and you, for educating others about chronic pain, and the support I feel as a chronic pain person.

I am with this 100% on this. It is the media that has been responsible for so much of the tragedies we are dealing with almost on a daily basis. I still cannot wrap my mind around this horrible event, or the others as well. A world gone mad.

Thanks so much for sharing. It is horrendous to me, all of this. What are we coming too? I get it from both sides, but killing is never the answer. xx I cannot imagine the fear each officer experiences each day as they go off to work to keep us safe.
