Self-Care Sunday 3/12/2017

March 12

Happy Sunday All!

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in the desert this past week. Our days have hovered around 80 degrees with a lovely warm sun in the sky~

Perfect weather for a favorite self-care exercise of mine: gardening. There’s just nothing like kneeling down in the dark soft soil, and whispering sweet encouragements to your green babies as you tend to their growing needs.
MediQui Nutritional Hemp Oil

I’ve been saving my eggshells and coffee grounds to mix into the dirt. The coffee grounds add nitrogen, while the eggshells provide added nutrients to the soil.

Gardening is one of those activities that can be tailored made to your personal preference. In other words, you can simply pot a few herbs and keep things small, or tackle a whole vegetable/flower plot on a grander scale.

Just remember, it must be RELAXING to be self-care! No stressing out!

What did your ‘self-care’ consist of this week? Remember, it can be anything that benefits you! Share with all of us here in the chronic community what works for you. It can be: a product you make & sell, an Etsy shop, a hobby, a relaxation technique, a trip you took, a recipe you’d like to share, ect.!

Not always accessible at this time of year in Ontario, but I love to walk along the beach and pick up rocks, colourful stones and sometimes even sea glass.
