‘Gut Health Storylines App’ ~ For Tracking & Organizing Your Healthcare Needs

  • “This is a sponsored post for Gut Health Storylines App. I have been compensated through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. All opinions remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.”

I have 3 embarrassing confessions to make:

  1. I can eat (and have been known to do so) over a dozen donuts in less than a 24 hour period…

  2. I habitually take the lids off of my beverages (don’t ask me why), which often results in spilling their contents over a variety of surfaces i.e.: the floor, the TV controllers, my lap, ect.  In fact, I have just spent the last 10 minutes frantically cleaning a large portion of the rug where I have unceremoniously dumped my milk laden, sweetened ice coffee. (Shhh!….Don’t tell ‘D’!)

  3. I am terrible at keeping orgainized track of many of my healthcare needs: doctor’s appointments, medications, sticking with a healthy exercise routine, taking medications on timeect.

Now, there’s not too much I can do about #1 and #2.

Well, nothing other than not swinging by Rainbow Donuts. Plus, I could also make an effort to utilize lids and straws for what they were intended for.

However, I have found an incredibly convenient and fun app from Gut Health Storylines to help me get #3 under control!

This FREE app actually makes organization enjoyable!

Here is a ‘screen shot’ of what my personal account looks like:

So cool!  Here are a few things I am able to do by popping into my Gut Health Storylines App:

  • RECORD the foods (like donuts) that trigger my IBD symptoms ~

  • TRACK symptoms, vitals signs, and even my moods in order to serve my overall health better ~

  • MONITOR bowel patterns (you know you do it too!) to help understand my gut health issues at a greater capacity~

  • REMEMBER not to forget when I have my doctor appointments scheduled ~

  • JOURNAL about my condition, and other aspects of my daily life ~

  • IMPORT data from the other health and fitness apps that I use ~

  • CONNECT with support groups, receive messages of encouragement, and share my health story with others  ~

'Gut Health Storylines App' ~ For Tracking & Organizing Your Healthcare Needs

I have downloaded other ‘health care organization’ apps before. This is the first one I have been consistent with. The app offers several features that I especially enjoy:

  • The graphics are large, esthetically pleasing, and simple to navigate.

  • I love the fact that it allows me to set timers and notifications. This has to be one of the biggest problems I face with the two medications that I take. I often flat-out forget to take my meds. Life gets so busy! I mean, who among us has never been so busy at one time or another, and have forgotten to take our medication? This is no longer an issue since I have been setting a morning and evening timer to remind me to take my pills!

  • The ‘Healthy Doses’ feature actually offers ‘encouragement’ by way of quotes, and sayings that help to get me in the right frame of mind. When I find a quote I like, the app allows me to ‘save’ it and/or share it with friends, family, and community. I get to choose from one, or all of these categories: Gratitude, Optimism, Love, Funny, or Mindfulness. Here is an example of my ‘Gratitude’ quote for the day:

I really like this free app from Gut Health Storylines! I encourage you to download it right now to your phone or computer, and check it out for yourself. I think you’re going to love it!
