    Kristine, although I really intensely dislike my chronic disease the one thing I’m thankful for is that it comes with some warning signals. When I do too much my legs hurt horribly, and I get the heavy head and a pain in my neck that is so strong I can barely hold my head up. But the biggest sign is when I start running a temperature, when this happens I know I’ve gone too far and I need to work on getting more down time. Nothing stops the temperature but rest, the longest temp I ran was for 5 months. I’m not contagious but I’m miserable.

    Thankfully I very rarely have migraines and I hate that you have to suffer through them, they are horrendous.

    Eating better, removing gluten and drinking more water has definitely helped me. And when I’m able to get a good amount of sleep that helps keep symptoms at bay.

    Thank you for always sharing what works for you, many of these things will work no matter what chronic disease you have.

      It is always miserable when you run a temperature! 🙁 Very good advice as far as the diet tips are concerned! I do always feel better when I’m well hydrated and eating well. And you’re right! So much good health advice crosses back and forth between various chronic illnesses. Have a wonderful week Nikki! 🙂

    Thanks for the free download! I look forward to reading it. I’m in a flare that started last Friday. I carried my daughter 0.6 miles to the car because of her swollen foot. My back, shoulders, knees, everything flared immediately, and is easing off in pain today. Flares suck!

    Kristine, the free download comes at the most opportune time. Yesterday I wasn’t feeling that great to begin with then I got all stubborn and scrubbed the shower. My sweet husband saw what I did when he got home and made sure I stayed in bed the rest of the day, serving my meals and making sure I had lots of water to drink. Thank goodness it’s just the two of us except for our cat, and he makes me feel better by keeping me company 🐈 I’m in my late 50’s and I’ve had fibro since my 20’s. It’s only been the last ten years or so that the effects have interfered with my life, even to the point of having to retire on disability. I can use all the help I can get when it comes to dealing with the flares – thank you so much for what you do!
